#AAATravelSelfies: See Yourself in Orange County

by admin

Orange County boasts 42 miles of coastline composed of six unique Southern Californian cities. A day on the coast can include surf lessons, strolls along the beach or nighttime bonfires.

In addition to beach time, we recommend visiting sites such as the Crystal Cathedral, which was designed in the shape of a four-pointed star and comprised of more than 10,000 panes of glass. If you love the outdoors, head to Crystal Cove State Park for water activities such as scuba diving or surfing and sightseeing on foot, horseback, or bikes. The varied terrain and 3.5 miles of coastline will keep you busy.

No matter your age, a must-see is Disneyland. Get spooked in the New Orleans-style Haunted Mansion, take a ride on the Disneyland Railroad, and bounce along with Tigger on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, among various other distinctly Disney scenarios.

For dinner, try Three Seventy Common where you’ll find an eclectic mix of small plates, big plates and everything in between. Bonus—they have themed dining nights. It’s an energetic restaurant that also welcomes kids with one of the healthiest kids menus around.

For a more traditional meal, try Old Vine Café, a cozy cafe that serves fresh, seasonal food in a casual atmosphere. They are especially well known for prix fixe dinners with wine pairings. This is a better option for date night than a family dinner.

For your after-dinner entertainment, hit the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. They offer a great drink menu, music line-up, and charismatic gospel singers.
