Every year tens of thousands of art lovers descend upon Greenville, South Carolina to enjoy Artisphere, one of the largest juried art festivals in the country. This year, enjoy one of the Top 10 Art Festivals in the U.S. from the comfort of your own living room from October 2-4 as Artisphere goes virtual.
Artists and demos
In addition to an Artist’s Market featuring art for sale from more than 70 juried professionals from around the country, throughout the weekend the public can virtually connect with artists, follow along with cool demos, and engage in a variety of fun kid crafts.
Bid on your favorites
The Artist’s Market will work similar to an auction, with a starting bid price, bid increments, and a “buy it now” price. For those not looking to buy but still wanting to experience the always free festival, the public will be able to watch a number of panels and demonstrations. Those include a printmaking demonstration with artist Sunny Mullarkey and a graffiti demonstration on a new food truck with Nick Burns, aka Ninja Picasso. Metal worker Ryan Calloway and Soteria CDC will be featured on Artisphere’s virtual Demo Row. Kidsphere activities for tiny art lovers will be streamed throughout the day with at-home craft projects, music and interactive exhibits.
