Modern Luxury in Grand Cayman

Grand Cayman’s first new resort in a decade, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa is a shining example of contemporary design on the island’s celebrated Seven Mile Beach. Aiming to deliver “luxury without the attitude,” the property offers a wide range of boutique experiences such as the intimate chef’s bar — a front-row seat to the art and science of restaurant cooking — or the Caymanian nap, a relaxing spa experience that happens on a bed of gently warmed sand. The resort boasts 266 guestrooms and suites, as well as six suites in an additional three bungalows. Most offer floor-to-ceiling windows, ocean-view balconies and contemporary tropical décor. There are three different restaurants, a stellar kids club and varied water-based activities. The property opened in 2016 and received its coveted AAA Five Diamond rating in 2017; today it’s sitting pretty with a few “best new” and “most romantic” awards under its belt.
